About Me
I’m John, a London-based Stage Manager with experience across musicals, theatre, opera and ballet. I specialise in calm, accurate show-calling and supporting creative teams through clear communication, reliable paperwork, and a steady presence in the rehearsal room.
What drives me is helping productions run smoothly, whether that’s cueing a musical score with a conductor, managing the challenges of a tour, or ensuring a complex technical rehearsal feels calm and collaborative. I believe that good stage management is about consistency, kindness, and creating the conditions for everyone else to do their best work.
My career has taken me from intimate studio theatres to international opera festivals and UK tours. Each project has strengthened my ability to adapt quickly, maintain accuracy under pressure, and keep both the artistry and the logistics moving in harmony. Looking ahead, my focus is on building long-term relationships with companies and supporting large-scale productions in the West End and on tour.
